• Evaluate test results for precision, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection and ready samples for testing as necessary.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all procedures, assist in training new personnel or students, and help ensure high lab quality standards are met.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment while adhering to both regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a relevant allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications Required

• Acquire ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of your hire date.
• Ensure your certification remains current throughout your tenure.
