• This newly created Head of Tax position offers the chance to join a growing organization that is continuing to invest in its tax function

• Work directly with senior leaders across Finance and other key business areas

• The Head of Tax will play a major role in strengthening tax reporting, controls, and internal processes
• Get involved in high-impact work across international tax, acquisitions, transfer pricing, and strategic initiatives

• Own the preparation and review of quarterly and year-end income tax provisions
• Lead tax controls and compliance activities related to SOX and public company reporting
• Oversee federal and multi-state income tax filings and related compliance
• Manage tax examinations and serve as a key contact for taxing authorities
• Work closely with international finance teams on transfer pricing and intercompany activity
• Provide tax support for acquisitions, global planning initiatives, equity programs, and special projects
• As Head of Tax, coach and develop members of the tax team while setting priorities and driving accountability
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Treasury, FP&A, HR, Legal, and Operations
• Evaluate current processes and implement improvements around reporting, controls, and efficiency

• 10+ years of progressive experience within corporate tax
• Deep hands-on knowledge of ASC 740 and income tax accounting
• Experience supporting SOX controls and SEC reporting within a publicly traded environment
• Strong understanding of U.S. federal and state income tax matters
• Proven experience leading quarterly and annual tax provision processes
• Exposure to international tax matters is highly preferred
• Background within manufacturing, technology, or another complex multinational environment preferred
