Position Title: Sous Chef- TD Bank (Mount Laurel, NJ)  

Salary: $60,000- 70,000/Yr

Job Summary:

As a Sous Chef with Restaurant Associates at TD Bank in Mount Laurel, NJ, you will oversee the day-to-day culinary operations of a premier high-end executive dining program . You will play a key role in supporting and executing breakfast, lunch, and dinner services, managing buffet, plated, and à la carte menus, while maintaining the highest standards of culinary excellence and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assists the Sr. Chef Manager with planning and creating menus
• Produces and supports in executing catering events
• Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with Company marketing and culinary team
• Support the planning, preparation, and execution of high-quality catered events and daily culinary operations.
• Assist in the development of menus and provide recommendations for menu enhancements that align with guest expectations and current culinary trends.
• Oversee inventory management, purchasing, ordering, and receiving processes to support operational efficiency and cost control.
• Support sourcing initiatives that prioritize local and seasonal products whenever possible.
• Actively participate in food preparation, cooking, and service alongside the team 

Preferred Qualifications:

• A.S. or equivalent experience
• Some progressive culinary/kitchen management experience, depending upon formal degree or training
• Catering experience is required 
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience - highly desirable
• Institutional and batch cooking experiences helpful
• Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
• Must be experienced with computers, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Outlook, email, and the Internet
• Must be willing to participate in client satisfaction programs/activities  
• ServSafe certified - highly desirable
