Lifeguard PositionThe lake is calling. As a Lifeguard, you'll run lake activities, watch over every swimmer, and help build a fun, Christ-centered environment one day at a time.If you're looking for something that actually matters, not just a paycheck, this is it.What You'll DoServe as an alert and active lifeguard during all scheduled waterfront activitiesMaintain clean, safe, and well-organized waterfront areasParticipate in lifeguard training and ongoing skill refreshersWelcome and assist campers, staff, and guestsSupport the Aquatics Lead with daily operations and special eventsAssist with camper arrival and departure on weekendsReflect Christ's love through your actions and attitudeParticipate in camp activities planned by the Recreation and Ministry Departments, primarily after dinner hoursFlex into other roles and temporary assignments as needed, including Cabin LeaderWhat You Get$275/week + housing and meals includedRed Cross Lifeguard Certification available through Timber-lee training if you don't already have itLive on-site with a built-in communityWaterfront experience and a certification that transfer to future jobsA summer that impacts lives, including your ownImportant Role DetailsThis is a live-in, residential roleMay include temporary reassignment to Cabin Leader or other roles based on camp needsRequires active participation in a Christian ministry environmentRequirementsWhat We're Looking ForA professing Christian with a personal faithCurrent Red Cross Lifeguard Certificate, or the ability to obtain one through Timber-lee trainingStrong swimming ability and comfort in open waterAlertness, sound judgment, and a strong sense of responsibilityInterest in working with youthWillingness to be fully engaged in a live-in summer camp environmentPhysical RequirementsAble to work outdoors in hot and humid conditions for extended periodsAble to lift and move up to 50 poundsSummer ScheduleStaff Training: June 1 – June 12Camp Sessions: June 13 – August 7Why This Role MattersYou'll spend the summer responsible for something real.
