Job Description

Join a fast-growing, AI-powered medical billing startup that's redefining revenue cycle management for outpatient healthcare practices.

Making sure you fit the guidelines as an applicant for this role is essential, please read the below carefully.

We're seeking a Medical Billing Partner to serve as a trusted expert to outpatient practice owners. In this role, you'll manage end-to-end billing operations and support front desk workflows for small healthcare practices while working hand-in-hand with our software engineering team to influence the direction of our AI technology.

This position is perfect for someone with 3+ years of full revenue cycle experience in an outpatient setting—ideally in allied health (PT, OT, ST, dietitians)—who wants to make a tangible impact in a high-growth environment. Ideally, they've also held practice manager or broader administrative roles.

This is a rare opportunity to join a well-funded, early-stage startup at the forefront of AI-driven medical billing—where your contributions will directly shape the future of healthcare.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the go-to revenue cycle partner for independent outpatient practice owners
  • Manage the full billing lifecycle: claims submission, follow-ups, denial resolution, patient statements, and payer communication
  • Support front desk and administrative functions, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with revenue cycle best practices.
  • Analyze performance metrics and provide strategic recommendations to improve collections and cash flow
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers and product leaders to build and refine AI-enabled billing tools

Requirements

  • Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week) with a consistent 8 hours per day schedule, sometime between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM local time

  • Remote Readiness: Reliable remote work setup, including quiet workspace and internet

Experience

  • 3+ years in revenue cycle management / medical billing, preferably in an outpatient healthcare setting (bonus if in allied health—PT, OT, ST, dietetics)
  • Expertise in billing, with a strong understanding of claims, denials, and payer policies.
  • Experience overseeing front desk and administrative functions in an outpatient setting. xhyhwjd
